The lake was beautiful and the paddling easy. Went approximately 6 miles round trip. You'll come close to shore and see various thermals on land and in the water, but for safety sake, you won't be close. Bring bug spray for there were a few mosquitos. Sunset on the lake is beautiful. The guide was very knowledgeable and engaging and he provided all protective clothing and drybags if people wanted them.

Great, helpful, full of information. Told us what was coming, what we could expect to see. Gave alternate options.

Great audio guide! Extremely useful, since you get access to online maps and points of interest while at Yellowstone, where there is no internet. Plus some interesting info about the park and its attentions.

Great narration and navigation. Nice historical information, stories, and music. Gave great tips on “must sees” and things not so critical to see.

Great kayak on Yellowstone lake with a small group led by josh. Josh was personable and informative. Lots of wildlife and good views of west thumb thermal area. The lunch at the end was a plus.

Mike Rose totally fit into our family. His ability to impart his extensive knowledge of the wild life was easy to follow and enjoyable. In two days he became a family member. He protected our crew and tolk us to see almost every animal we set out to see.

It was an absolute joy to spend the day with Brian from Brian Creek Photography! His in-depth knowledge of Yellowstone National Park made the experience unforgettable. Brian guided us to prime spots where we saw bears, bison, pronghorns, elk, and a variety of other wildlife. Since it was late May, we were lucky enough to see playful bison calves and some bears with their adorable cubs. It truly felt like a wildlife wonderland. We also got a kick out of observing chipmunks, Uinta ground squirrels, and marmots. We booked the tour six months in advance, and I was already impressed by the level of attention Brian gave us beforehand. He recommended podcasts and reading materials on the park, suggested places to stay and eat, and even offered tips for other areas we planned to visit. On the day of the tour, he picked us up at 6 a.m. and spent a full 14 hours showing us around Yellowstone, covering both the upper and lower loops, as well as detours to Lamar Valley and even Cooke City. The conversation was engaging, and we covered a wide range of topics, from wildlife to the park’s history. We even flipped through a bird guide and identified a few species we had spotted. While our main focus was photography and wildlife, Brian also took us through the Yellowstone Lake area and some of the geyser regions, which were another highlight of the day. We enjoyed a fantastic lunch by the Gibbon River, soaking in the surroundings. As a host, Brian was outstanding. His enthusiasm and company made the day even more enjoyable. From a photography perspective, he gave excellent advice on when to use tripods, what camera settings to adjust, and where to position ourselves for the best shots. He knew exactly when and where to be to capture the perfect light and to maximize our chances of spotting wildlife. Although Brian handled the driving, he was always quick to spot animals and determine whether a stop was worthwhile. We also had plenty of opportunities to take photos through the window, which made for great shots of the animals. I can’t recommend a photography tour with Brian enough—it was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our western U.S. trip!

This is a private, concierge style wildlife viewing experience in Yellowstone. Kyle is an outstanding host/guide. His knowledge of the park and of the patterns and movements of its wildlife leads to many great sitings. We saw everything from harlequin ducks to a grizzly feeding on elk. He even located the ever-elusive wolves (a bucket list item for our daughter). The trip is tailored to your desires and Kyle is able to lead you off the beaten path. We took a short hike in search of wolf sign and happened on a quiet meadow with bison and elk well away from the park roads. Our experience included lunch and plentiful snacks and water. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to get prime views of the abundant wildlife in Yellowstone.

Brian and Allen were amazing kayak tour guides! Very accommodating for our small mixed levels group. They ensured we were safe at all times and let us stop for a picnic and bathroom break on the shore. They were both very knowledgeable on the history of Yellowstone and answered all our questions. Thank you for being so patient with us!

What an experience!! We were able to see so much wildlife before noon. Wolf, Elk, Bear, Coyote, Bison, etc..It was great to have a guide like Mitchel. He has the experience, knowledge, and degrees to better help us understand Yellowstone and it's wildlife. He was very tentative to what we wanted to see. Private tour is the way to go to make sure you get to see what you want, without the worry of time.
